No creaking after months of use
The joints are still silent when I shift my weight. The gas column does not squeak when I adjust the height either.

Base does not mark the floor
The casters have a soft edge that has not scratched a wooden floor after a year. I still use a mat under it, but I am not sure I need to.

Upholstery wipes clean
A spilled drink and a few crumbs cleaned up with a damp cloth. No stain left behind and the surface did not go shiny.

Firm seat at first
It felt hard for the first week and I nearly sent it back. It has softened slightly since, and the support is better than a soft chair.

Good height range for a shorter user
My partner is 158 centimetres and her feet reach the floor properly. Most chairs leave her legs dangling, so this was the deciding factor.
