Stand does not transmit desk bumps
The base is heavy and it does not tip. Typing on the same desk produces a faint thud rather than the boom I used to get.

Keeps the keyboard out
I type constantly while talking and the mechanical clatter barely registers. The cardioid pattern is doing its job.

Headphone jack is genuinely useful
Zero-latency monitoring while recording means I can hear myself properly. That feature alone justifies the price for me.

Plug and play on both systems
Worked immediately on Windows and on macOS. No driver, no configuration, no software asking me to create an account.

Clean sound, room echo is real
In a bare room it picks up a little reflection. Moving it closer and hanging a curtain fixed it, but the room matters with any microphone.

Voice sounds like me
Natural rather than compressed. Colleagues noticed on the first call without knowing I had changed anything.
