Buttons are quiet but soft

The sound level is right for an open office, though the press feels a little spongy compared with a crisp mechanical switch. Fine for spreadsheets, less satisfying for gaming.

Palm area does not trap heat

The surface under my palm stays cool through a full afternoon, which was not true of the rubberised mouse I used before. No clammy feeling by the end of the day.

Dragging a selection stays steady

Holding the left button and dragging across a paragraph selects exactly what I aim at. The button does not release early, which was the reason I replaced the last one.

Weight sits toward the back

The balance is slightly rear-heavy, so lifting it for a reposition tilts the front up. I got used to it, but a flatter weight distribution would suit fast desk work better.

Wheel tilts for sideways scrolling

I use a wide monitor and horizontal scrolling through a spreadsheet is now one motion instead of dragging a scrollbar. The tilt is stiff enough that it does not trigger by accident.
