Side buttons need some reach
My thumb has to stretch slightly to reach the forward button. It is usable, but people with shorter thumbs might find both buttons awkward to press in a hurry.

No wake-up lag on a Mac
After the laptop sleeps the mouse responds immediately on wake. My old one took several seconds and a click to reconnect, which was a daily irritation.

The receiver is plugged into the USB ports on the back of my monitor. Even through that hub the pointer is responsive and I have not seen a dropout.
