Cable is long and sturdy
It reaches from a tower on the floor, around the desk and to the back of the board with slack. The connector is reinforced where it joins the shell.

Backlight is even and readable
No hot spots under the spacebar, no dim keys in the corners. Easy to read in a dark room without lighting up the whole desk.

Three-way cable routing
Running the cable out the back instead of the side cleaned up my desk noticeably. Small design decision with daily benefit.
