Battery doors fit tightly
Neither cover has come loose in a year of being moved around. They need a firm press to open, which is exactly right for something carried in a bag.

Mouse feet glide without noise
No scratching on a wooden desk, no catching on the edge of a mat. Quiet movement matters more than I expected in a shared room.

Receiver is small and discreet
It sits almost flush with the side of the laptop, so it does not catch on a sleeve when the machine goes into a bag.

Indicator lights are not distracting
Small and dim, nothing that glows across the room at night. I can see the low battery warning when I look, and ignore it when I do not.
