Both devices share one power switch
The keyboard has a single switch that also puts the mouse to sleep after an idle period. I have not had to think about battery management at all.

Works right after unboxing
Pulled the tab on the battery, plugged in the receiver and both devices worked. From box to typing in under two minutes.

Works with a tablet for writing
Paired with an iPad for drafting articles. The keyboard handles long typing sessions well, and the mouse works for selecting text across documents.

Range covers a meeting room
I use the set to drive a projector from the far end of the room. The connection holds at about eight metres with a wall in between.
